CDC Recommends Against Travel to Haiti

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Daily Digest

The following is an announcement from the U.S. Center for Disease Control regarding travel to Haiti.

Due to the recent earthquake disaster in Haiti CDC decided last night to recommend against all nonessential travel to Haiti. A travel warning for travelers and an announcement for U.S. residents in Haiti were posted on the CDC’s Travelers’ Health web site.
